Product Description BOOT BRUSH: Now there is a way to keep the outdoors where it belongs. The Scrusher all but eliminates dirt, mud, grime, and snow from being tramped inside your door. The entire family can use the Srubber to remove dirt, mud, and slush from any type of shoe. Cleans soles and sides.

| Customer Reviews: brush scrusher shoe & boot cleaner November 15, 2009 Gail R. Wiese (wisconsin) The Scrusher is great except ... if you are wearing running shoes etc with nylon inserts, the side brushes would destroy them. For boots and leather work shoes it's great, gets in the ridges and cleans them up nicely. I would suggest mounting it on some sort of grating, unless you don't screw them down, the dirt can build up underneath otherwise.
Great Shoe Brush June 12, 2009 John Saxton (Whidbey Island, WA) Great brush for knocking the dirt and vegetation off your shoes after a nice long hike in the great northwest.
boot scrusher January 21, 2009 fuddy duddy I bought this product for work and all the guys like it. removes side dirt and bottom of the boot dirt well.
Simple, well made, does the job. March 11, 2008 Jimbo (The Woods of South Central PA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Yes, it does need to be fastened down to the floor or to a piece of plywood or something similar before you can use it. Yes, you do need to remove the two small bottom brushes to access the holes underneath them in order to fasten it down (but this is easy to do). No, it doesn't come with instructions or fasteners. Nevertheless, it's well made and durable, does exactly what it's designed to do, and is worth every penny of its very reasonable price. If you've been getting 'that look' when you come into the house with muddy boots, it may save your marriage.... perhaps even your life. One more tip: it's helpful to locate the brush close to something you can hold onto to keep your balance while scrubbing your boot/shoe back and forth in the brush.
You need the base January 7, 2008 Garden Guru (Delaware USA) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This product needs a base or a bracket to hold it in place. Otherwise it is useless. Those should be offered with the brush and it should be made very clear that it needs another part to be useful. The brush alone should only be sold as a replacement part for those who already have the base or bracket. I would not mind paying more for a packaged assembly containing the brush and base or bracket. It is very inconvenient to receive the item and then realize you need another part. I even gave one as a gift to my embarrassment.
